2010-2011

It is time for a new academic year. The language of this blog will now change to English, following the fact that more and more of our students are not Finnish. Although we have always had an estimate of 1-3 courses of English language teaching every term, this autumn over a half of our teaching will be in English or possible to do in English (as many art courses can be done in both languages, due to their hands-on nature). Still, most of our courses can be done in Finnish, too. In many cases we will have two versions of the same course. E.g. this year our course in aesthetics is in Finnish, but next time it will be in English, and so on.

Here you find the courses of this autumn. Besides our full time staff (Harri Laakso, Marjo Mäenpää, Pia Euro, Annu Wilenius, Taina Rajanti, Max Ryynänen) we will have teaching and lecturing contributions by e.g. David Bate, Mika Elo, Paavo Paunu, Juha Nenonen, and Vytautas Michelkevicius, but as always, new teachers and guests will probably be added soon after the teaching has started.
